Dave Huntley

Dave Huntley has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Dave is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Distributed, where they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Continuous Improvement Director at the same company starting in November 2021.

Before joining Distributed, Dave served as the Director at EightyOne Unite starting in June 2015.

From September 2017 to June 2020, they worked at Anpriot Ltd as the Head of Software Development. During their time there, they established a software development department from scratch, including hiring and recruitment, strategic planning, risk management, and coaching and mentoring developers and stakeholders. Dave also participated in a risk management plan to address issues in legacy systems.

Before Anpriot Ltd, Dave was the Technical Engineering Manager at Ticketmaster from July 2015 to September 2017. In this role, they managed a team of cross-functional software engineers and quality assurance engineers, delivered ticketing systems to football clubs, improved mobile performance, and oversaw the roll-out of products to new clients.

Prior to Ticketmaster, Dave was the Software Development Team Leader at Bet365 from January 2014 to July 2015. Dave was responsible for web sites and services in a production estate of live servers.

Dave also worked as the Head of Development Services at Mutual Vision Technologies from July 2010 to January 2014, where they started as a senior consultant and was promoted to a leadership position. Additionally, they served as an Analyst Software Developer at 2020 Mobile Group from April 2010 to July 2010, and as a Senior Software Developer at Galleria-RTS from July 2006 to March 2010.

Dave's earliest known work experience was as an ICT Learning Technician at Sir Thomas Boughey Co-operative Business & Enterprise College from September 2004 to August 2005. Dave was responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the school intranet as part of an initiative to implement advanced learning technologies.
