Chris Schlemmer

Chris Schlemmer has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Chris began their career in 1996 as the Owner of Schlemmer Consulting, specializing in mobile app and website design and development. In 2001, they became the Director of Information Technology - Athletics at The University of Kansas, where they provided technical leadership for the IT department and supervised maintenance procedures for 36 departmental servers. In 2009, they joined Combat Brands LLC as the Director of Information Technology and Systems Administrator, where they were tasked with orchestrating the execution, leadership, and strategic vision for all IT functions and operations. In 2013, they were hired as the Director of Information Technology at the Law Offices of Berman and Rabin, where they oversaw the evaluation and improvement of the company’s IT department. Later that same year, they were appointed as the Vice President of Technology at DistributorCentral, where they were responsible for the delivery of a custom e-commerce platform for the promotional products industry and supervised a team of 11 technical staff. During their tenure, they facilitated the migration from a 15-year-old data center to Amazon Web Services (AWS), which led to a 200% improvement in performance and 50% reduction in expenditures.

Chris Schlemmer attended The University of Kansas from 2001 to 2004, studying Information Technology. In 2000, they obtained their Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco. In 2012, they obtained their Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
