Julie Hamel

Julie Hamel has extensive experience in social innovation and business development. Currently serving as a Social Innovation Fellow and Coach at District 3 Innovation Centre since October 2014, Julie also holds the position of Social Business Advisor. Prior to this role, Julie worked at S2L from October 2005 to September 2014 as a consultant specializing in business development. Between December 2002 and December 2005, Julie was the General Manager at Golf Boucherville, and from April 1993 to August 2000, Julie owned and managed a Subway restaurant. Julie holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship from Western University, obtained from 1989 to 1992, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the same institution, earned from 1984 to 1987.
