Yun Yao

Yun Yao is the CEO and Co-Founder of Soralink, a company specializing in industrial machine condition monitoring and predictive maintenance utilizing advanced AI sensors and 5G technology. Yun Yao has also been involved in various entrepreneurial programs, including the Launch and Grow and Validation programs at District 3 Innovation, where extensive market validation interviews and training were completed. Previous experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at Clear-Com, where leadership in product development and innovation was demonstrated, as well as positions in haptics, firmware development, and research at companies such as Motsai, Tactile Labs, Immersion Corporation, Marconi Communications, and Nortel. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in related fields.
