Chakia Parham

ChaKia Parham serves as the Vice President of Institute and Program Implementation at Teach For America, where responsibilities include redesigning teacher training programs for nearly 2,500 teachers and managing a diverse team while adhering to a multi-million dollar budget. ChaKia's previous roles at Teach For America include Vice President of Regional Support and Engagement and Senior Managing Director of Teacher Leadership Development, focusing on improving educational outcomes in Memphis and supporting a robust team culture. ChaKia has also coached educators at KIPP New Orleans and led classroom initiatives as a Third Grade Inclusion Teacher and Kindergarten Lead Teacher. ChaKia's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of North Texas.
