Sydney P.

Sydney P. currently serves as the Transportation Network and Community Grants Coordinator for the District Municipality of Muskoka, a position held since March 2021, following a role as Transportation Network Coordinator. Prior experience includes working as a Constituency Assistant for MPP Catherine Fife at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from September 2018 to March 2021, where support was provided in community outreach and casework. Sydney P. also contributed as a Family Court Support Worker at the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region from September 2016 to September 2018, assisting women navigating the family court system after experiencing intimate partner violence. Earlier experience includes directing a leadership program as a Leader in Training Director during a practicum at The Cairn Family of Camps from April 2014 to August 2015. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Guelph.
