Allen Xu

Allen Xu is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Engineering Planning and Assets for the City of Mission since March 2021. In this role, responsibilities include water sewer drainage infrastructure planning and design, facilities maintenance, and capital upgrades. Previous positions include Manager of Engineering at Capital Regional District, where major capital projects were delivered, and Team Lead at Alberta Energy Regulator, providing technical guidance on energy projects. Allen also held various engineering and management roles within the Government of Alberta, focusing on project management for transportation infrastructure. With a foundational background at Thurber Engineering Ltd. and Clifton Engineering Group Inc., Allen possesses extensive expertise in geotechnical and transportation engineering, supported by a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
