Shannon White

Shannon White is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental governance, currently serving as an Integrated Solid Waste Specialist at the District of Squamish since May 2016, previously functioning as a Sustainability Coordinator from May 2016 to March 2020. Prior to this role, Shannon worked as a Sustainability Specialist at LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and held the position of Program Manager at Product Care Association, along with experience as a Research Consultant at Fraser Basin Council Society and as a Project Assistant at ICLEI. Earlier roles included research at the REC Regional Environmental Center, where Shannon contributed to studies on sustainable procurement and environmental policies. Shannon holds a Master of Science in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Arts in Honours International Relations with a focus on French from Mount Allison University.
