Guillermo Contreras

Guillermo Contreras has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in different companies. Guillermo currently serves as the CEO of DitoBanx, a position they assumed in September 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Director de Arquitectura at Binario S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for the development of Software as a Service for mobile and web applications. Guillermo 'sresponsibilities included architecture and development of various applications, integration of automated data, implementation of cloud services, and maintenance of partnerships with operators in the region.

From 2006 to the present, Contreras served as the President of the Board of Directors at UBICA GPS El Salvador. In this role, they were involved in financial planning, business strategy, development of technology and telemetry businesses in Central America and the United States, and the creation of a real-time satellite tracking platform. Guillermo also monitored marketing activities and customer service campaigns.

From 2011 to 2021, Contreras was the President of Vigila 247, specializing in electronic security services and network infrastructure. Guillermo played a crucial role in developing various business areas, including video surveillance, access control, fire detection, network infrastructure, and more. Guillermo also led business development efforts, attended trade fairs, negotiated with suppliers, and handled large-scale projects.

Contreras also has experience as the Director Comercial at Recarga S.A. de C.V., where they were responsible for commercial planning, business strategy, and the incorporation of the company as a distributor for all telecommunications operators in El Salvador. Guillermo implemented self-service kiosks for electronic recharge.

Earlier in their career, Contreras served as the President of Quimicas Industriales de Centro America. Some of their achievements during this period include developing a strategic plan, securing funding, establishing sales routes, and developing a line of industrial and automotive cleaning products.

Guillermo Contreras has a diverse education history. In 2014, they completed a post-graduate specialization in Venture Capital at INCAE Business School. Prior to that, they attended Universidad Albert Einstein from 2005 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniera with a focus on Sistemas de Computacion.
