Gus Fune

Gus Fune has extensive work experience in the technology and e-commerce industries. Gus'smost recent position is as the Chief Technology Officer at divbrands, where they are responsible for leading the IT and Engineering department and overseeing the transition to digital commerce. Prior to this, they served as an Advisor at USEFLOW, providing guidance on technology, scalability, fundraising, and leadership.

Before that, Gus was the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Off Script, a successful e-commerce marketplace. Gus built the platform from scratch, integrating with multiple e-commerce platforms and handling a high volume of transactions. Gus was also an Entrepreneur at Antler, where they developed and approved a business venture that later became Off Script.

Gus has also held roles such as Executive Producer at Epic Awesome, Consultant in Product & Tech at memmo, Senior Web Developer at Green Hat Web Solutions, and Tech Lead at Dijitally. Gus Fune has an extensive education history. In 2013, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed a program called "Mastering Design Thinking and Innovation." After that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2017 to 2019.

In 2011 and 2012, Gus Fune attended IESB for a post-graduate program in Game Development. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they studied Media Studies, Film and Video at the Universidade de Brasília, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Continuing their education, Gus Fune attended Hyper Island in 2017 to study "Leading Teams in the Digital Age," although no degree was obtained from this program.

In addition to their formal education, Gus Fune has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they received the AWS Business Professional Accreditation from Amazon Web Services. In 2018, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance. In the same year, they also passed the English Proficiency Exam - General Training administered by IELTS Official. More recently, in 2021, they obtained certifications as a Google Cloud Certified Cloud Digital Leader from Google, a Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
