Head of IT services

Description

The head of IT services is responsible for the IT services and oversees professionals in IT systems and infrastructure, IT engineering and IT group team leadership and routinely carry out GAP analysis on the business' IT tech and team to ensure that there is the adequate capability to reach future business goals.

Head of IT services Responsibilities:

• Optimising business IT processes
• Monitoring IT efficiency
• Assessing, monitoring, and upgrading business systems and processes
• Liaising with vendors and third parties
• IT security and governance
• Managing and developing the business IT division
• Stakeholder management

Good technical knowledge in the following areas may also be required:

• IT management
• Infrastructure and applications
• Data warehousing, architecture, and networking
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies
• A minimum of 5 years of IT service delivery experience
• Experience with business operations platforms

Nice to have:

• Speaks fluently in Dutch.
• Five or more years of experience in organizational development and management
• Proven track record of generating impact from events
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Experience with hiring and managing IT staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
