Serge Chávez Feria

Serge Chávez Feria has extensive work experience in various roles related to data science, computer vision, and engineering. Serge currently holds the position of Senior Data Scientist and Computer Vision Engineer at Dive.tech since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Professor at EAE Business School starting in October 2019.

Serge also held the role of Senior Computer Vision Engineer at New Horizon Technologies from July 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Exceltic from December 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for developing AI systems for security products, constructing ML pipelines, and building video streaming pipelines.

From January 2020 to December 2021, Serge worked as a Software Engineer at Ontology Engineering Group (UPM). Their responsibilities included developing software components and ontologies for construction, digital twins, and smart cities domains.

Serge's work experience also includes their role as a Computer Vision Engineer at AI.nnovation Space Lab / UPM from February 2018 to October 2019. In this position, they implemented functional prototypes for object detection and integration with a human pose estimator system.

Prior to that, Serge worked as an Instrumentation and Process Control Engineer at CUMBRA from February 2012 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for designing control and instrumentation systems for mining projects and coordinating with clients and suppliers.

Serge Chávez Feria began their education journey in 2007 at Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Engineering. Serge successfully completed this program in 2011.

After a few years, Serge decided to further develop their knowledge and skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Therefore, in 2017, they enrolled at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid for a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, specifically in the field of Computer Science. Serge completed this program in 2018.

Currently, Serge is continuing their academic pursuits at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they are working towards a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence. Serge commenced this program in 2020 and is expected to complete it by 2024.
