Emmanuel Garza

Emmanuel Garza is a highly skilled software engineer specializing in computational engineering, currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Divergent since November 2021. Previously, Emmanuel held various roles, including Sr. Software Integration Engineer at Divergent and Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Southern California, where significant achievements in high-performance computing, CUDA programming, and electromagnetic simulations were realized. Notable accomplishments include the development of a C++/CUDA library that achieved speedups up to 1,746x and the creation of optimization algorithms for nanophotonic devices.
