Nathan Lyu

Nathan (Naesung) Lyu is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). Currently serving as Director and Technical Specialist in CAE at Divergent since January 2022, Nathan previously held roles at Canoo, Faraday Future, and Caterpillar Inc., where leadership included heading the Structural Optimization team and serving as an Engineering Project Team Leader. Nathan began the career as a CAE NVH Engineer at Ford Motor Company and has a solid engineering foundation with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Seoul National University.
