Rich Escoffery

Rich Escoffery is General Counsel at ACS Group. In this role, he oversees the legal affairs of the company and is responsible for a wide range of legal issues that relate to the company’s activities and operations, including employment matters, contract review and negotiation, litigation, and compliance. He is also responsible for the management and oversight of ACS Group’s outside legal service providers. Relying on more than 20 years of experience practicing law, Rich focuses on delivering the highest quality legal services to the business’ internal clients, acting as a business partner who happens to have legal expertise.

Prior to joining ACS Group, Rich was a partner at the law firm of Elarbee Thompson in Atlanta, where he represented large and medium-sized businesses in a wide variety of employment-related matters and was a frequent speaker to various human resources and business organizations. He began his career as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Rich has been repeatedly recognized as a Super Lawyer and is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

An active volunteer in the Atlanta community, Rich is an alumni mentor for Emory University’s 1915 Scholars Program and is a ministry leader in his church. He has also served on multiple alumni boards at Emory University and as a member of the Board of Trustees at Arbor Montessori School. Rich received a J.D. degree with distinction from the Emory University School of Law in 1995 and a B.A. degree from Emory University in 1992.
