Ysidro Garza

Ysidro Garza has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Most recently, in 2022, they joined DIVERSANT, LLC as a PS, Network Security Engineer. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2022, they worked at TEKsystems as an F5 Engineer, where they were responsible for managing various network and security systems such as F5 BigIPs, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Azure and AWS environments. Before that, Ysidro worked at Rackspace Technology for over a decade, from 2009 to 2021, as a Network Security Engineer V. During their time there, they played a key role in training and mentoring the International After Hours team and was an escalation point for their shift. Ysidro's early career includes an internship at the San Antonio Water System in 2008, where they assisted with disaster recovery and VOIP upgrades, and a role as a Computer Lab Technician at Northwest Vista College from 2006 to 2008, where they managed the campus computer lab and troubleshooted network issues.

Ysidro Garza attended Northwest Vista College from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Network Administration. In 2017, they enrolled at Western Governors University and completed a Bachelor's degree in IT Security in 2019.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Ysidro Garza has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Ysidro received the CompTIA A+ ce certification from CompTIA in September 2017. Ysidro also obtained the CCNA Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in February 2007, followed by the CCNA Security certification in January 2010. In February 2014, Ysidro Garza earned the CCNP Security certification from Cisco. Additionally, they obtained the F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator certification from F5 Networks in May 2016. Most recently, in September 2021, they received the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA.
