Matthew Orr is a Senior Design and Development Engineer at Diversatek Healthcare, a position held since September 2018, focusing on establishing product design inputs through research, testing, and prototyping, as well as developing manufacturing processes for new products. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at GMI Solutions from April 2014 to September 2018, where Matthew designed electrical schematics, performed board layouts, and created mechanical enclosures using 3D CAD tools. Matthew also worked as an Electrical Engineer/QA Manager at BioResearch Associates Inc. from January 2007 to April 2014, developing new medical devices for the dental industry, including hardware, firmware, and software components. Earlier roles included a part-time Lab Technician at the Medical College of Wisconsin from December 2004 to December 2006, supporting cardiac research studies through tissue culture and streamlining laboratory processes. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, completed in 2003.
