Bob van der Hout

Bob van der Hout has extensive work experience in procurement and contract manufacturing. Bob started their career at JohnsonDiversey in 2007, where they worked as a Value Chain Project Manager, implementing improvement and saving projects. Bob then moved up to become an EMA Portfolio Planner, responsible for value chain planning and managing migration projects. In 2011, they became the Contract Manufacturing Manager Europe, overseeing a supplier base of over 50 European contract manufacturers and driving sourcing strategy execution. From 2013 to 2015, they took on the role of Contract Manufacturing Manager & 3PA Planning Lead Europe, where they also assumed responsibility for the contract manufacturing planning team.

In 2015, Bob joined Sealed Air Corporation as the Contract Manufacturing Lead Europe. In this role, they were responsible for the European contract manufacturing strategy, leading a team of 12 professionals and delivering on annual savings targets. Bob then became the Director of Contract Manufacturing Europe, overseeing the European contract manufacturing strategy for the Cleaning and Hygiene, Food Packaging, and Protective Packaging Divisions.

In 2017, Bob joined Diversey as the Procurement Director for Contract Manufacturing Europe Middle-East & Africa. Bob played a strategic role in procurement and was responsible for managing the procurement of finished goods in multiple divisions. In 2019, they were promoted to Executive Director of Procurement Emerging Markets.

Throughout their career, Bob has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully delivering on savings targets and driving improvements in cross-functional cooperation.

Bob van der Hout completed their undergraduate education from 2000 to 2007 at the University of Groningen, where they obtained a Drs./Master's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Operations & Supply Chain Management.
