J. Robert Quiroz, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of industries. J. Robert began their career as Avionic Maintenance in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2008. J. Robert then worked as a Maintenance Technician at Novo Nordisk A/S, where they calibrated, maintained, and repaired pharmaceutical production and assembly lines. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Calibration Technician at SIMCO Electronics, calibrating inspection, measurement, and test equipment. J. Robert then moved on to the role of Operations Supervisor at SIMCO Electronics from 2010 to 2011, where they managed service performance and budget objectives.
In 2011, Quiroz joined Marathon Oil Corporation as an Engineering Technician, responsible for managing and maintaining production accounting and allocations for the Eagle Ford Asset. J. Robert also set up and implemented production allocation gathering systems and analyzed and troubleshooted daily production allocations. J. Robert was later promoted to Production Operations Data & Reporting Supervisor, where they led and supervised production measurement, operational data capture, and allocation to ensure accurate production reports and royalty payments.
Starting in 2015, Quiroz worked at Murphy Oil as a Production Data / Accounting Reporting Manager. J. Robert managed multiple teams and drove results as the technical lead for production accounting and allocations. J. Robert oversaw the compilation of monthly results and variance analysis of actual vs budget. In 2019, Quiroz moved to Ensign Natural Resources, where they initially served as a Production Accounting / Data Manager, responsible for managing teams and ensuring production allocations met company standards and requirements. J. Robert then transitioned to the role of Director of Production Allocations and Data Analytics, where they collaboratively worked with various teams and third parties to ensure production allocation processes aligned with company standards.
Currently, Quiroz holds the position of Vice President of Production Allocation & Measurement at Diversified Energy Company. In this role, they oversee production accounting/allocations and internal measurement. J. Robert implemented operational strategies to drive growth and scale within the organization and formulated a new vision and mission for production allocations and internal measurement.
J. Robert Quiroz, MBA has a diverse educational background that spans multiple institutions and fields of study. In 2007, they began their undergraduate studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aeronautics in 2010.
After gaining some professional experience, Quiroz pursued further education and enrolled in the Harvard Business Leadership Program, which was sponsored by Murphy Oil Co., at Harvard Business School in 2015. Although the field of study for this program is not specified, it provided him with valuable leadership skills and knowledge.
Most recently, Quiroz attended the University of Houston from 2019 to 2021, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance.
Through their educational endeavors, Quiroz has acquired a solid foundation in both aeronautics and finance, allowing him to excel in various professional settings.
