Kara Heer, MHA, CST

Kara Heer, MHA, CST has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Kara started their career as a Certified Surgical Technologist at SCL Health in 2014 and worked in that role until 2021. In 2021, they joined Denver Health and Hospital Authority/OBHS as a Surgical Technologist, contributing to the provision of uncompensated care and promoting continuity of care for patients. Kara also worked at Vascular Institute of the Rockies as an Education and Marketing Director, where they enhanced brand visibility through community event sponsorships, marketing collateral, and digital engagement. Currently, Kara holds the position of Operations Practice Coordinator at Diversified Radiology, ensuring that radiologists focus exclusively on their individual specialties, resulting in high-quality medical care.

Kara Heer holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, which they obtained from Colorado State University in 2019. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Colorado Mesa University.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kara has obtained several certifications in their field. Kara is a Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM) from the AAPC, which they obtained in October 2020. Kara also holds a certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, earned in 2013.
