Carmel Carroll

Carmel Carroll serves as the Manager of Community Development and Family Violence Prevention at Cultura Geelong since August 2022, leading a team focused on supporting migrant, refugee, and asylum seeker communities. Concurrently, Carmel has held various roles at Diversitat since April 2009, including Family Violence Prevention and Early Intervention Projects Lead, where engagement with diverse communities informs the co-design of family violence prevention strategies. Prior positions include project work in mental health services and community development aimed at enhancing inclusivity for CALD individuals with disabilities. Carmel holds a Master's degree in International and Community Development from Deakin University.
