Farooq Abbasi

Farooq Abbasi is an accomplished venture capital professional with extensive experience in seed investing and mentorship. As the Founder and General Partner of Preface Ventures since December 2015, Farooq focuses on investing in innovative enterprise infrastructure software. Additionally, Farooq serves as a member of 3i Members, co-founded Diversity VC to enhance diversity in the venture capital industry, and mentors at MIT Sloan School of Management and Stanford University. Farooq’s previous roles include Principal at Costanoa Ventures, Associate Partner at Mosaic Ventures, and Investment Analyst at DN Capital, where Farooq contributed significantly to early and growth-stage ventures across various sectors. Farooq holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois.
