Colin Konschak, FACHE has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician / Graduate Intern at Graduate Hospital, where they gained experience in inpatient medication preparation and participated in quality management programs. From 1994 to 1998, they served as the President of Lincoln Reses Home Health Care, overseeing daily operations, strategic planning, and managing P&L. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, they worked as an Acute Care Account Manager at Merck, and from 2000 to 2004, they were an Area Business Manager at Johnson & Johnson, responsible for managing sales teams and driving sales objectives. In 2004, they joined IBM Global Business Services as an Associate Partner, where they managed client relationships and project delivery in the healthcare provider segment. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Old Dominion University, teaching courses related to healthcare. In 2007, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Divurgent, a healthcare consulting firm, and also served as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors starting in 2022. Additionally, they held various leadership positions at Virginia HIMSS, including Sponsorship Chair, Programs Chair, and President, and was recognized as the HIMSS 2008 Chapter Leader of the Year. Colin also served as a Steering Committee Member at CommonwealthRx from 2009 to 2012. Colin has a strong background in healthcare consulting, executive leadership, academia, and pharmaceutical sales.
Colin Konschak, FACHE has a diverse education history. In 1995, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Colin furthered their education by attending the Certificate Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School in 2009. Additionally, Colin obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health Services Administration from Old Dominion University.
Colin Konschak has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional credentials. Colin is Board Certified in Healthcare Management by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Furthermore, they hold the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) certification from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Colin is also a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the states of Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Additionally, they have achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University.
