Ann McAllister has a diverse work experience in the creative field. Ann worked as a Creative Director at Dixon Schwabl Advertising from March 2016 to the present. Prior to that, they operated their own company, Ann McAllister Art Direction and Design, as the Principal since February 2013. Ann also served as an Associate Creative Director at Dixon Schwabl Advertising from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they were a Creative Group Supervisor at Partners and Napier from January 2009 to February 2013, and a Senior Art Director at the same company from September 2003 to 2008. Before that, they worked as an Art Director at Thresh Creative Associates from April 2001 to September 2003, an Imaging Artist at Coup d'Etat from 1998 to 2000, and an Imaging Artist/Designer at Chromagen from February 1993 to October 1998. Ann started their professional career as a Self Employed Illustrator from February 1991 to 1995.
Ann McAllister has an extensive education history. Ann first attended Culver Academies from 1980 to 1983, where they received their High School Diploma with a focus on Liberal Arts. Ann then went on to attend Sweet Briar College from 1983 to 1987, where they graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. During their time at Sweet Briar College, Ann achieved the highest honors in Studio Art. Later on, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography and Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994.
