Joan Strand

Joan Strand has a strong background in finance and administration. Joan served as the Chief Financial Officer & EVP of Administration at Dixon Ticonderoga starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Pacon Corporation from January 2012 to October 2019. Joan also held the position of VP of Finance at Hoffmaster Group, Inc. from March 2007 to January 2012. Before this, they worked as the Divisional Controller at Empi from August 1992 to February 2007. Joan began their career as a Tax Manager at KPMG, where they worked from January 1986 to July 1992.

Joan Strand obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Wisconsin School of Business, specializing in Accounting and Risk & Insurance. Joan attended this institution from 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
