Frank Rosenthal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Frank started their career as a Systems/Lead Engineer at Textron Systems, where they worked from 1982 to 1985. Following that, they served as an Officer in the Army National Guard for eight years. From 1985 to 1993, Rosenthal worked as the Manager of Operations and Engineering at EIL Instruments, where they were responsible for manufacturing and new product development.
Frank then joined Black & Decker, where they held various roles including Senior Commodities Specialist, New Product Operations Manager, Director of Manufacturing Technology, and Director of Advanced Sourcing/Operations. During their time at Black & Decker, Rosenthal played a key role in sourcing and manufacturing for the company's Power Tools Division and led international manufacturing technology strategy implementation.
In 2008, Rosenthal joined Lutron Electronics as a Director, overseeing strategic value analysis and product cost reduction initiatives. Frank then transitioned to SAFT in 2010, where they served as the General Manager of the Space and Defense Division. Frank had P&L responsibility for R&D, engineering, program management, production/operations, and all support functions.
Rosenthal later joined Knorr Brake Company as the Director of Operations, where they were responsible for all operational functions including manufacturing, supply chain management, purchasing, warehouse, industrial engineering, and facilities management. Frank'sexpertise was in products related to brake systems, entrance systems, and HVAC systems for passenger rail vehicles.
In 2015, Rosenthal became the President of Hydrasearch Co, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixon Valve and Coupling Company. Hydrasearch specializes in manufacturing fluid conveyance systems and other specialty components for defense, commercial, and recreational marine applications.
Currently, Rosenthal holds the position of Vice President/General Manager in the BOSS Division at Dixon Valve since 2017.
Frank Rosenthal attended Virginia Military Institute from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, from 1988 to 1993, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at Loyola University Maryland.
