Michael Melia has a strong background in finance, with experience as a Chief Financial Officer at DIY Media Group and AVL Digital Group. Michael also served as the Vice President of Finance at Spartan Organization, Inc. and worked as an Assistant Vice President in Corporate Planning and Investor Relations at Pep Boys. Prior to that, they held a managerial role at GE Capital - Global Equipment Services and various positions at Exelon, including Manager of Strategy and Product Management.
Michael Melia obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 1987. Michael then went on to earn a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical Engineering from Widener University in 1991. In the same year, they also completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Financial Management from the University of Delaware. Additionally, they have acquired certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in 2002 and the Professional Engineer (PE) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1992. Furthermore, they hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from GE Capital.
