Laurie D. Nelson has extensive experience in revenue cycle management and customer service within the healthcare and related industries. Currently serving as RCM Director & Site Leader at DJO since April 2018, Laurie has previously held roles such as Sr. RCM Manager and National Accounts Manager. Prior to DJO, Laurie worked as Revenue Cycle Manager at Surgical Treatment and Recovery Center and held various positions at Orthofix, including Director of Administration and Customer Operations, where notable contributions included managing Accounts Receivable and enhancing customer satisfaction. Earlier in Laurie's career, roles at EZ2Get.com focused on team management and operational efficiencies in a contact center environment. Laurie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Business-Public Relations from the University of Texas at Tyler and an Associate degree in Science from Lon Morris College.
