Mai Hung Son

Mai Hung Son (Shane) has extensive experience in the field of data engineering. Mai is currently working as a Lead Data Engineer at PT Bank Jago Tbk, where they lead a team of engineers in building a Data Platform from scratch. Mai'sresponsibilities include developing and maintaining data engineering components, operating data warehouses, and designing and implementing infrastructure for the Data Platform.

Prior to this, Shane worked as a Lead Data Engineer at DKATALIS, where they continued their work in building data platforms. Mai also has experience as a Senior Data Engineer at Rakuten, where they were involved in designing and building batch and streaming pipelines and managing a Big Data Platform.

Before their work in data engineering, Shane worked as a Software Development Engineer at Works Applications Co., Ltd., where they participated in building internal frameworks. Mai also worked as a Software Engineer at Visenti Pte Ltd, where they developed software products supporting water-pipe network operators.

Shane started their career as a System Analyst Internship at OCBC Bank.

Mai Hung Son (Shane) graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2014. Prior to that, they attended the High School for Gifted Student in Physics at Hanoi National University from 2007 to 2010. In 2013, Shane obtained a certification in National IPv6 Innovation Challenge from IDA Singapore.
