James Squier has over 35 years of work experience. James began their career in 1985 as an SSGT in the USAF RETIRED. From 1995 to 2008, James worked as an IT Engineer for American Computer Professionals, and then as an IT Support for Caltrop Corp. From 2012 to 2015, they were an IT Support Technician for MCA Logistics. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Service Desk Analyst (Kaiser Permanente) for Apex Systems, and as a Deployment Specialist for PROW Consulting Partners, Inc. During this same time, they were also a Service Desk Analyst for Stearns Lending (NMLS #1854). From 2021 to 2022, James worked as a Support Analyst II for Guaranteed Rate, and is currently employed as a Service Desk Engineer for DKBinnovative.

James Squier completed their high school education at Rubidoux High School from 1981-1985. James then obtained a Certification from New Horizons Learning Center in Network Technologies in 1994. In the same year, they also obtained a CompTIA A+ ce Certification. In 2011-2012, they obtained a CompTIA Network+ ce Certification and a CompTIA A+ ce Certification in 2012. James also obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate in 2013. From 2015-2016, they obtained a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCSA v2.16). In 2021, they obtained a CompTIA Linux+ ce Certification and a CompTIA Linux Network Professional – CLNP Stackable Certification. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from LinkedIn, Linux Academy, and CompTIA since 2011.
