Mike Maas

Mike Maas has extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry, currently serving as the Authorized Agent Owner at D&L Transport since April 2015, providing coast-to-coast logistics for van and refrigeration freight. As the Owner of First Fruits since 2009, Mike manages an aquaponic and hydroponic farm, known as "Mike’s Farmacy," specializing in sustainable produce growth. Previously, Mike held various leadership roles, including President of Lighthouse Trucking & Sword Transportation Inc. from 1999 to 2009, CEO of Freightliner Truck City in South Africa from 1993 to 1996, and General Manager at Peterbilt South Africa from 1989 to 1993. Mike's career began as an Owner Operator from 1979 to 1989 and included a supervisory role at W.J. Bulk from 1974 to 1979. Educational background includes studies at Bekker Agriculture and Princeton SC Hating in South Africa.
