Philip Povey

Philip Povey is a Senior Associate specializing in Special Situations and Financial Restructuring at DLA Piper since June 2020. In addition, Philip serves as President of TMA NextGen in London since February 2021. Previously, Philip held associate positions in Financial Restructuring and Insolvency at Paul Hastings and in Business Restructuring and Insolvency at Hogan Lovells. Philip began the legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Taylor Wessing. Academic qualifications include a Law (LLB) degree from King's College London, completion of the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, and experience as a visiting student at the University of Bremen. Early education was completed at St Andrew's Catholic Secondary School in Leatherhead.
