Colby Wilson

Colby Wilson is a dedicated student nurse currently gaining experience in the cardiac step-down unit at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, a position held since January 2018. Colby has a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau University, completed in 2018. Prior to the current role, Colby engaged in various clinical experiences, including pediatric checkups and general wellness at the White County Health Department, care for preterm infants at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and experience on the mother-baby unit and labor and delivery at Gwinnett Medical Center. Proficiencies include therapeutic communication skills developed at Emory Wesley Woods Psychiatric Facility and hospice and palliative care at Habersham Geriatric Facility. Additional work experience includes a role as a Human Resources Assistant at DLH Corporation since May 2013.
