Dr. Ali al-Lami

Dr. Ali Al-Lami is an experienced researcher and member of the Divisional Board for Aeronautics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where responsibilities include leading multiple research and development projects focused on sustainability in aerospace and composite technology. Key achievements include the development of the Eco-Efficiency Assessment Model and the Smart-Work-Station for performance analytics in composite production, as well as authoring multiple patents related to lightweight fiber composite production technologies. Dr. Al-Lami has also contributed insights on sustainability at the National Research Council Canada as a visiting postdoctoral researcher and has experience in quality management and systems engineering from previous roles at Lufthansa Aviation Training GmbH. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Aviation & Astronautic Engineering and a Master's degree in the same field, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
