Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2008, they founded Forward Role Recruitment, an industry-leading specialist in marketing, digital, and technology recruitment. Steve played a key role in attracting top talent and empowering candidates to build successful careers. In 2020, they co-founded Greenify Ltd with a mission to help businesses create authentic green propositions to combat climate change. Steve focused on developing environmentally friendly products sourced from high-quality projects worldwide. Steve also served as a director and investor at Bring Digital, a digital marketing agency from 2013 onwards. In 2011, they held the position of Executive Search Director at FR Executive, where they specialized in recruiting senior management and leadership positions in digital, marketing, and technology sectors. Steve has also been an active member of the Northern Talent Council at DMA UK since 2018. Steve founded Leaders Networks in 2019 and became a director and investor at My Local Mortgage in 2020. From September 2020 to December 2022, they served as a NED at MuddyWellies. Prior to these roles, Steve worked as Divisional Head - Marketing at Xceli from 2003 to 2007. Steve started their career as a Marketing Analyst at The Very Group in 2002, where they worked on data-driven marketing projects such as segmentation tools and geo-demographic analysis.

Steve Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Lancaster University, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Management, also at Lancaster University, from 2001 to 2002.
