Ernesto Simon Vecilla

Ernesto Simon Vecilla possesses extensive experience in the biotechnology and synthetic biology sectors, serving as VP of Bioengineering at DMC Biotechnologies, Inc., and Vice-President of Synthetic Biology at Cemvita Factory Inc. Prior roles include VP of Flavors and Fragrances and Senior Director of Pathway Engineering at Conagen, as well as positions as a consultant and strategic advisor in the biotech field. Ernesto also held R&D Director roles in Biosciences and Biotechnology at Firmenich. Academically, Ernesto obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
