Jeff Fithian

Jeff Fithian has over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles in the IT industry. Jeff started their career as a Senior SAP Consultant at Andersen Consulting, where they worked from 1995 to 1997. Jeff then joined Storage Technology Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Fithian joined Ariba, Inc. as a Global Solutions Delivery Consultant, a position they held for a year before moving on to Insight Consulting Services, Inc. In this role, they managed a project to replace a legacy eCommerce application and oversaw a team of developers and architects from 2001 to 2002.

From 2002 to 2007, Fithian worked at Corporate Express, first as an IT Business Consultant and later as the Manager of eBusiness Technologies and Integration Architecture. Jeff was responsible for overseeing IT projects and collaborating closely with the finance department.

Fithian then joined Sun Microsystems in 2007 as a Senior Program Manager, leading the design and implementation of Oracle EBS Partner Management Module for Sun's global ERP roll-out. Jeff also managed the business acceptance testing aspects of Sun's Oracle ERP solution in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

In 2009, Fithian moved to Kärcher North America, where they held several roles, including Senior Manager of SAP Applications and Vice President of IT and Business PMO. Jeff provided overall strategic direction for IT and digital enablement activities throughout the enterprise, managed external providers and vendors to optimize services, and developed and implemented an IT strategic roadmap aligned with business goals.

Most recently, Fithian has served as the Chief Information Officer at DMC Global Inc. Jeff has been responsible for leading all IT functions, including application development, ERP implementation and support, digital transformation, infrastructure and operations, and M&A integration.

Throughout their career, Fithian has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills. Jeff has a proven track record of successfully implementing IT solutions and driving digital transformation in various organizations.

Jeff Fithian's education history begins with their attendance at Parkland High School from 1981 to 1984. Jeff then enrolled in Virginia Tech, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from 1986 to 1989. Following this, Jeff pursued further education at Virginia Tech and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from 1991 to 1993. Lastly, in 2019, they participated in an executive education program called the Innovative Technology Leader Executive Education Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
