Rose Appel

Rose is a member of DMCs Test and Measurement team. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. There, she participated in ecological research, which allowed her to study the natural world both hands-on, while conducting fieldwork on an island off the coast of Chile, and through data, while using MATLAB to analyze measurements from a site in arctic Alaska. She also interned at a commercial solar company and on GE Transportation’s battery-electric locomotive team. Rose is very interested in sustainability and renewable resources, and she hopes her life’s work will create a positive impact on the environment.
