Danny J Paredes has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Danny J started their career at Okland Construction as a Lay-Out specialist from 2008 to 2010. Danny J then worked as a Construction Intern at ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) in 2011. After that, they joined Raba-Kistner Consultants, Inc. as an MOT QA, where they worked on the I-15 Core project from 2011 to 2013. Danny also had the opportunity to work as a Scheduler at Steel Encounters, Inc. from 2014 to 2015, where they developed and maintained schedules for bid proposal and awarded projects. In 2015, they worked as a Structural Engineering Intern at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, focusing on preparing and drafting details and structural guidelines for temple structures. Danny then became a BIM Specialist at Okland Construction in 2016, where they assisted project teams with pre-construction and ongoing projects and explored the latest technology in VDC, BIM, and 3-D scanning. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Project Engineer at HD, where they were involved in the Terminal Redevelopment Program (TRP) in a joint venture partnership between Holder construction and Big-D Construction. Currently, Danny is working at Marting Harris Construction as a Project Engineer, where they are working on a hospitality project with a super aggressive schedule on the Las Vegas Strip and assisting the project manager in managing sub-contractors. In addition to their professional experience, Danny also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University from 2013 to 2017, assisting in undergraduate and graduate classes in the Construction Management and Civil Engineering departments.
Danny J Paredes has a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Brigham Young University. Additionally, they have pursued Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Utah. Furthermore, Danny holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley University. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained LEED GA certification and completed OSHA 30 training from OSHA.
