Massimo Prelz

Massimo has been involved with DN Capital since 2001 as Chairman of the investment Committee, advising the team over capital allocation and organisation. Massimo Prelz Oltramonti career in venture capital started in 1981 with Olivetti where he was involved in the tech investment program, out of Italy and then New York. After a period in operations with Olivetti in data services he joined Alta Berkeley Associates in 1988 before moving to private equity as partner and then Managing Director of Advent International. Between 2004 and 2014 he was affiliated with GMT Communication Partners. He is now director and advisor for a number of companies, including Engie EPS S.A., TechWald SpA and Zzoomm Group ltd.

Massimo has served as Chairman of Jazztel plc through his restructuring and as Vice-Chairman of Primacom AG. He has also been a member of the board of SBS S.A.(Nasdaq), Esat telecom plc (Nasdaq), Esaote SpA (Milan Stock Exchange) and CityFibre Infrastructure Holding plc (AIM).
