Ben Nicholson

Ben Nicholson currently serves as a Lecturer in Sport at DN Colleges Group, starting in October 2023. Prior experience includes working as a UK Scout for Sports Recruiting USA, where responsibilities included identifying potential student-athletes and hosting recruitment events. Ben held the position of Head of Academy at The North of England Football Academy from September 2018 to October 2023, overseeing daily operations, coaching U19 teams, and managing staff and communication. Other notable roles include Assistant Manager at AFC Mansfield Limited, Academy Youth Development Phase Coach at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, Football and Education Programme Manager at Chesterfield F.C. Community Trust, and various coaching positions across other clubs. Ben Nicholson holds a Master’s Degree in Strength and Conditioning and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching, with ongoing postgraduate studies in Lifelong Learning.
