James Lamont

James Lamont has had a long and successful career in journalism. James began their career as an Economics teacher at Jakob Marengo Tutorial College before moving into journalism. James worked as the Business Editor at Finance Week and the Deputy Editor at Middle East Times before becoming the Editor of Business Report at Independent News & Media. James has been a Board Member at NHST Media Group since March 2001.

James Lamont has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Related Literature from the University of York, a Master of Arts in Southern African Studies from the University of York, and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Brown University.
