Calin Daian

Calin Daian is an experienced product management professional with a strong background in agile software development and technical product management across various companies in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. At DNAnexus, product management responsibilities are held since July 2022. Prior roles include technical product management at Freenome, where Calin oversaw the agile development of systems for colorectal cancer screening, and comprehensive product ownership at IDbyDNA, focusing on pathogen identification genetic tests. With previous experience at uBiome, Natera, and endpoint Clinical, Calin has a proven track record of managing software products throughout their lifecycle, including successful launches and compliance with industry standards. Education includes a Master's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Tulane University and Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Biochemistry from Oregon State University and the University of Washington, respectively.
