Prajjwol Mondal

Prajjwol Mondal is a software developer at DNAstack. Prajjwol previously worked as a software engineer in test at Ritual.co from July 2018 to April 2020. At Ritual, they were responsible for performing detailed and thorough testing of software and hardware to identify any bugs, while maintaining high-quality standards. Prajjwol also led the quality assurance of two engineering teams simultaneously, on top of other critical projects such as restricting credits to currencies, and the launch of multiple internal tools to support our operations team.

In addition to their work at Ritual, Mondal also supported the initial internationalization effort to launch the company in Australia & UK. Prajjwol also took the initiative to research and work on the initial automation framework to cover our manual sanity tests on mobile builds, when there was no prior automation work being done by the team. As a result of their efforts, the code quality of automation codebase was increased by providing thorough code reviews, participating in architecture design and writing test suites that adhered to good coding principles, and team guidelines.

Thanks to Mondal's work, the manual work done for sanity tests was reduced by 75% by replacing them with automated suites that covered more in a fraction of the time, and allowed our teams to deploy daily rather than every two weeks. Prajjwol also implemented a python utility package using Poetry that was used across multiple automation repositories, resulting in our automated suites being more stable, having less duplicated code, and better functionality.

Prajjwol Mondal completed a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) with specialization in Software Design from Queen's University. They studied Computer Science and specialized in software design.
