Ellen-Karine Hektoen

Ellen-Karine Hektoen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in compliance, corporate governance, and cyber security. Currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert and Security Specialist at DNB since February 2021, Ellen-Karine focuses on implementing EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act and enhancing cyber security awareness. Previous roles include Senior Compliance Officer in corporate banking, and multiple legal positions at Magnus Legal, Andenæs Aaløkken Veum Advokatfirma DA, and Nokia, where Ellen-Karine was recognized on The Legal 500’s GC Powerlist: Norway 2017 for leadership in Nordic and Baltic commercial operations. Additionally, Ellen-Karine held various board positions within Alcatel-Lucent subsidiaries from 2010 to 2018, culminating a career beginning with legal counsel responsibilities at Alcatel-Lucent Norway AS in 1999. Ellen-Karine holds a Law degree from the University of Tromsø and has pursued further legal studies at the University of Copenhagen.
