Kjerstin Braathen

Kjerstin Braathen is the Group Chief Executive at DNB. Kjerstin has held this position since May 2019.

Prior to their current role, Braathen served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for DNB Livforsikring AS from March 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of analysts and relationship managers in the shipping industry, as well as heading up the group's lending activity towards the LNG shipping industry.

From January 2017 to December 2017, Braathen also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for both DNB Næringskreditt AS and DNB Boligkreditt AS.

Before their time with DNB, Braathen was a Member of the Board of Directors for Nordlandsbanken ASA from April 2008 to October 2012.

Kjerstin Braathen has a Master in Management from SKEMA Business School and a Liscence er sciences economiques from Lycee de Nice-Sophia Antipolice.
