Muayad Azzawi is an IECEx Certified (Personal Competence) professional with extensive work experience in the field. Muayad Azzawi, began their career at DNO ASA in 2010, where they initially held the role of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer. In this position, Muayad worked on various projects involving electrical and instrumentation equipment, including installations and commissioning activities. Muayad Azzawi, also conducted instrument calibration, performed generator troubleshooting, and collaborated with a team to develop work plans.

Muayad then progressed to the role of Electrical and Instrument Team Leader at DNO ASA, where they assumed leadership and management responsibilities. Along with overseeing electrical and instrumentation tasks in the company's activities in northern Iraq Kurdistan, Muayad also handled IT work, provided instructions to the team, and managed work planning and spare parts ordering. Muayad Azzawi, IECEx Certified (Personal Competence), has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Muayad Azzawi, also holds a Bachelor in Engineer degree in the same field from Erbil, obtained during the same period. Prior to their university education, Muayad attended Besarany high school from 2001 to 2006, where they focused on Organizational Leadership. Muayad Azzawi, completed their high school education in Erbil, Kurdistan from 1987 to 2000.

In terms of further education, Muayad is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Kurdistan Hewlêr (UKH), starting in 2022.

Additionally, Muayad has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Muayad Azzawi, acquired the IECEx Certificate Personnel Competence from the International Electrotechnical Commission in January 2021. In October 2019, they completed the Project Execution, Design, Procurement, Construct, and Start-Up Training Course from PetroKnowledge.
