Miguel Gallego

Miguel Gallego has a diverse and extensive work experience in the drilling and engineering field. Miguel started their career at CEPSA in 2005 as a Well Site Drilling Engineer and later became a Night Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Planning Engineer. In 2011, they joined Halliburton as a Sr. Drilling Engineer/Drilling Superintendent, where they were responsible for planning and executing exploration CO2 storage wells. Miguel then moved to Maersk Oil in 2012, taking on roles such as Drilling Engineer, Senior Wells Engineer for Corporate Wells, and Senior Wells Engineer for the Danish Business Unit. During their time at Maersk Oil, they gained experience in well planning, operations support, ERD wells, and well design in various locations. In 2018, Miguel joined Crescent Petroleum as a Senior Drilling Engineer before transitioning to their current role as Lead Drilling Engineer at DNO ASA in 2019.
