Asuncion Lera St.clair

Asuncion Lera St.Clair is a highly experienced professional in climate change and digital assurance, currently serving as the Climate Change Lead at DNV since May 2014, with a focus on governance, regulations, and climate services. In addition to various leadership roles at DNV, including Senior Principal Scientist and Program Director, Asuncion leads research and advises at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and served on the Scientific Advisory Board at the University of Bonn. Previous positions include Research Director at CICERO and Professor at the University of Bergen. Asuncion holds a Dr. Polit in Sociology from the University of Bergen and multiple Master’s degrees in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from both the University of South Florida and Universitat de Barcelona, along with a certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
