Jens Martin Hjortlund

Jens Martin Hjortlund is a seasoned naval architect with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as a Principal Surveyor at Det Norske Veritas since January 2009, Jens has a strong background as a Senior Surveyor and previously held positions at Odense Steel Shipyard as a Naval Architect, where responsibilities included noise and vibration analysis, propeller design, and shaft alignment. Jens began his career at Maersk Ship Design A/S, contributing to newbuilding projects. Jens holds a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture from Helsingør Teknikum, earned between 1991 and 1996.
